Night riding is adventurous and exciting. But after all that hard work us guys need some refreshments. That is why we pick a host before each night ride. It is the host's job to bring along adult beverages and snacks to be enjoyed by the guys after our ride as we take off our gear, pack our bikes, and relive the evenings adventures with one another.

We have enjoyed a range of hosting selections since we started the tradition. One night around the holidays Adam made us egg nog with some snacks. Another evening I brought  Champaign with vegetables and other goodies. But more often than not we wind down with a few cold beers and some chips.

The pictures on this page are after a night ride we did in August 2005 at Sullivan Canyon in the Santa Monica Mountains. It is a challenging ride in the daylight, but at night its a whole new game.
