March 16, 1996 was a great day in my life. That was the day Michelle and I were married at Stephen S. Wise Temple in Bel Air, California. It was a clear evening, and the Temple sits atop the Santa Monica Mountains overlooking the lights in the San Fernando Valley. We were married by Rabbi Eli Herscher under a flower laden hoopah. We had family and friends from around the country to join us on that special day. We chose to have a traditional Jewish Wedding and incorporated many symbolic elements into the service. After our wedding service the guests hit the cocktails and appetizers, and then everyone poured into the reception hall which was decorated in white linens, flowers, and lights. Leonard Neil and his 13 piece band rocked the house as everyone filled the dance floor all evening long. Thank goodness we video taped the evening, because it was a whirlwind, and I wasn't able to absorb everything. After the party, we loaded the truck full of gifts and headed home for our own private celebration. We took our honeymoon in Vail, Colorado and stayed at the same hotel where I proposed to her. Ain't life grand!
