Who is Mike Reisbord?

You can learn a lot about me through these web pages. I believe that my family, friends and hobbies are all reflections on who I am.  However, here is some additional information for your consideration. . .

A.K.A: Reiso (pronounced both Reez-o and Rhyz-o))

Born & Raised in Southern California. I have lived here all my life.

Education: Bachelors of Science from San Diego State University (SDSU) in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management. Minors in surfing and beer. 

Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Southern California (USC) with an emphasis on Finance and Real Estate.

Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) after passing the level 1,2 and 3 exams on first attempts.

Occupation: Investment management and consulting. Private firm. 

Dream Car: 1967 Volkswagen Microbus in original mint condition. Peace out!

Person I would like most to have met: My grandfather and name sake, Michael.

How I measure success: People have different opinions on what makes someone successful. Some measure success by the amount of money you make, the kind of car you drive, or the value of your home. These things are nice, but they are far less important to me than how happy a person is with themselves and the life they have created.  For me, being successful means having time to spend with my family, being able to jog along the coast, surf or ride my mountain bike, and being comfortable with what I am accomplishing with my time above ground.

I have often said that I am the luckiest person I know. I have been blessed with so much in my life that the only thing I could ask for going forward is continued health for myself, my family, and those close to me.
